Onsala Ingenjörsbyrå presents a 4-days course in ASME III, 11-14 of January 2016 in Kungsbacka, Sweden. This course provides a unique opportunity for structural analysis professionals in nuclear industry to learn about ASME section III and Long Term Operations, as well as exchanging ideas and expanding communicational horizons.

 NCA General Requirements
 ASME Section III – NB/NC-ND-3100 Design Loading

 Day 2

 ASME Section III - NB-3200 Design by Analysis
 ASME Section III – NB/NC/ND-3300 Vessel Design

 Day 3

 ASME Section III – NB/NC/ND-3600 Piping Design

 Day 4*

 Overview of Time-Limited Aging Mechanisms (TLAAs)
 ASME Section III Fatigue Analysis and Environmental Fatigue

* If the course is not fully booked, we offer a limited number of places for attending only day 4 which focuses on LTO (Long Term Operation), fatigue analysis with environmental variables, NUREG/CR 6909, ASME Code Cases etc.

Lecturer

George Antaki

Mr. George Antaki, PE, Fellow ASME, is chairman in the ASME III Working Group Piping Design, and chairman in the ASME B31 Mechanical Design Committee. He has over 40 years of experience in nuclear plant design, qualification, and trouble-shooting. He is the author of three textbooks on the subject and is the Chief Engineer for Becht Nuclear Services.
