CFD

We perform CFD calculations with FLUENT and STAR-CCM+ on two powerful HP Linux clusters, 120 cores (2015) and 256 cores (2009), with experience exceeding 20 years. Pre-processing is carried out using Pro/E and ANSA. Typical simulations are flow patterns and thermal-mixing in piping and vessels, turbulent fluctuations at operating conditions that result in flow- or acoustic-induced-vibrations of internals or piping systems and rotating turbines etc. The cases often vary from a few million cells to >100 million in some complex models and R&D cases.
